Homosexuality - a word that evokes either a seriously positive reaction or a truly negative reaction in people. There is no in between on this subject. Everyone has an opinion, even if it's to ignore the whole subject entirely, preferring to allow people to "do their thing" as long they aren't personally affected or "no one else is getting hurt". It is one of the most misunderstood, argued about, divisive, discussed, revered, hated and combative subjects right now. There is very little ambiguity regarding the opinions of those debating the subject. You either live in the camp of "hating the sin but loving the sinner" or in the wild area of "hating anyone who hates gays and loving the sin". From my own personal experience, I want to weigh in on the debate with fundamental information and sound Biblical Truths.

This frequently updated website is intended to provide as much information as possible about the truth of homosexual- and lesbian-identification. You will find many areas of information to help you understand either your own struggles with unwanted same-gender sexual attractions (or other forms of sexual sin) and/or become equipped as a church member, church leader, family member or friend in how to love better those who struggle in these areas. Please share the information with anyone you feel could benefit from its information.

No one chooses to feel unwanted same-gender sexual attractions; all who struggle in this area are looking for ways to relieve pain from childhood or even adulthood woundings, traumas, confusions, etc., which may drive them into life-debilitating sins. I believe this is not a healthy or God-honoring option for life and I offer information about a deeply satisfying alternative to this "deathstyle". God can and does transform lives out of places of sin. It requires brokenness, repentance, abandonment, confidence and release occurring in the struggler's heart and life.

God's children who have fallen into sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, homosexual behavior, thievery, greed, drunkenness, reviling, swindling and any other sin are the lost sheep. God works to bring His lost sheep back to Himself. They are not living the life God wants for them. Not all God's creations are God's children; however, all God's children are His sheep. Those of us who love individuals who are lost and have fallen into such sins as homosexual behavior are responsible for keeping the church and home doors open so they can return to the flock when they respond to God's call on their lives.

Many people believe homosexuality is the worst sin anyone can commit. That's wrong. God does not prioritize sin. Sin is sin is sin is sin in His eyes. If you are feeling shame over yourself or someone in your family who is committing the sin of practicing homosexual or lesbian behavior, please examine yourself a bit deeper. From where is your shame originating?

We have loved ones who need our prayers. I'm not just referring to those who are struggling with life-debilitating sexual sin behaviors; I also mean our dear Christian brothers and sisters with loved ones about whom they feel too much shame to even ask for intercessory prayer! Sexual sin behavior touches every church, in some way. Let's start praying to our merciful and loving Father - BOLDLY - so we may reach all our loved ones struggling with this sin. Let us come before the throne - BOLDLY - and fight the Enemy's tactics with the only Truth that will bring complete freedom - the "grace to help in time of need". This is not just my idea:

Hebrews 4:16 says: "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (NKJV)

We all need mercy and grace because we all sin. No one can escape sin. The Good News: God will help with any and all of these needs. He loves His children and offers restoration, transformation, reconciliation and solace. No matter what your sin, help is available.

We need grace and mercy in big daily doses. Life can become overwhelming. What areas of your life are you in need of grace and mercy? Are you dealing with secret sins like homosexual- or lesbian-identification, sexual addiction or pornography? Are you trying to understand a loved one who may have strayed into some self-destructive lifestyle? Are you grieving the loss of a family member living a less than desirable life? The ministry reaches out to those in need of support for overcoming life situations rarely dealt with in the standard church small group or pastoral setting. Our church seats are full of struggling Christians too afraid to open up to their fellow believers or their ministers.

It is time to take these fears straight to God in prayer. We offer loving support to those dealing with sexual sins such as homosexual- and lesbian-identification, sexual addiction, pornography and all types of sexual brokenness.

No struggle is insurmountable. God can dramatically transform and change lives, when we call upon Him in our time of need. It is time to safely and courageously bring our struggles out in the open so we are no longer held in bondage to sin.

Truly, God is able to dramatically transform lives. In fact, He wants to do so. We need to pray for these lives and for healing in all areas. Your concerns for yourself and/or your loved ones will be prayerfully taken straight to God, with the confidence promised in Hebrews 4:16. God can and will transform lives through this ministry.
